Potassium Ferricyanid K3[Fe(CN)6] sol. 8%

Ferric Ammonium Citrate [NH4]{y}[Fe{x}(C6H4O7)] sol. 20%

Sodium sulfide Na2S · 9 H2O sol. 2%

Nickel sulfate NiSO4(H2O)6 sol. 2%

Operating procedure

1. Make a basic cyanotype (6 min), with 10+10s rinsing, do not dry.
2. NiSO4 bath for 2 min.
3. Rinse for 30 seconds.
4. Na2S bath for 10 seconds.
5. Rinse for 20 seconds.

Note: The back of the paper turns medium grey.

Consignes de sécurité

Na₂S can be very irritating to the skin and eyes.

Na₂S can transform into H₂S in humid environments, which can be highly toxic => work under a fume cupboard is mandatory.
